Hammonton, New Jersey is known as the Blueberry Capital of the World — and the very first cultivated blueberry bush was planted right here in South Jersey. With that kind of history behind our favorite fruit, we wanted to create something that truly celebrates it.
We source our blueberries from small family farms in Hammonton, then pair them with honey from New Jersey apiaries — because we believe Jersey honey is simply the best. Together, they create a flavor profile that could only come from the Garden State.
Our blueberries travel north, where they're pressed on a press that's been running for over 100 years, turning them into a rich blueberry juice. That juice meets our honey in Edison, New Jersey, where every can of BARRENS is crafted, canned, and ready for summer.
